How to Volunteer
- The MPI volunteer groups typically meet 1-3 times per year, with one face-to-face meeting supplemented by two or more phone conferences. Attendance for face-to-face meetings is reimbursed based on the organization's volunteer reimbursement policy.
- Most terms are for one year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. Applications are available online in April. Member appointments are finalized by the chair-elect in May and all applicants will be informed of the selections by mid-June.
- Current committee, advisory council and task force members interested in continuing service on their current or another MPI volunteer group will be asked to complete an evaluation form in early April and will be given an opportunity to indicate interest in continuing to serve on an MPI committee, advisory council or task force at that time.
