Global Paragon Awards recognize exceptional meetings/events that deliver measurable successes to an organization’s bottom line. These meetings/events--which can serve as powerful educational tools and examples of best practices for the entire industry--complement MPI’s strategic plan. Entitled Pathways to Excellence, the plan aims to elevate the role of meetings in business and communicate the value of meetings to organizations’ senior decision-makers.
Sponsored by Omni Hotels, the Global Paragon Awards are the meeting industry’s highest honor for meeting/event excellence. Winners of the Global Paragon Award also receive career advancement opportunities, feature coverage in The Meeting Professional, media coverage, opportunities to use the award as a strategic marketing tool for your organization, and much more.
Global Paragon Awards are divided into two categories:
- Category I: Meetings/events with budgets up to US$1,000 per attendee
- Category II: Meetings/events with budgets more than US$1,000 per attendee (excluding transportation costs).
Beyond the Category I and II award categories, MPI has three additional awards of excellence:
- Best Themed Event
- Best Promotion for a Meeting or Event
- Best Product Launch Event
