Make Friends. Make Memories.  Make A Difference.
Spend the Day with Opportunity Village.

Opportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization that serves people with intellectual disabilities by providing them with vocational training, employment and social recreation services that make their lives more productive and fulfilling. Through Opportunity Village’s programs and services, hundreds of people with disabilities are learning vocational skills and being placed in jobs throughout the community, enhancing their lives and the lives of their families.

Opportunity Village will graciously host MPI-WEC volunteers on Saturday, August 9th to help their special employees clean up and refurbish their thrift store. With MPI’s help to complete this project, Opportunity Village employees will be free to work on more contracts during the week; increasing their pay rate and helping them live more purposeful lives.

Additionally, Opportunity Village has requested a mural be painted on a large wall within the thrift shop.  If you are artistic, this is an excellent opportunity to create something which will truly inspire the hard workers in the thrift shop.  Anyone with creative talents who is interested in the mural project should contact Neil Johnson with Las Vegas Convention Visitors Authority at 702-892-2852.
