Membership Statistics, Chapter Leaders Newsletter February, 2009
Dear Chapter Leaders,
As the global economic crisis continues, our growing global membership community is now at 24,615 members.
The community experienced 664 New Members, 1% increase in renewals and 39% increase in reinstatements in January 2009 versus January 2008. The economic crisis has impacted our community with an increase of 41% in cancellations in January 2009 versus January 2008.
MPI will continue to support our Members and Chapters with initiatives under the MPI Cares Program. Some of the initiatives include Unemployment Program, Installment Payments, Members in Distress, MPI Foundation Scholarships and Chapter Grants and much, much more. There will be many challenges and changes in 2009, please call on your leadership colleagues, Chapter Business Managers and Member Care Team to support you as we navigate the road ahead. There will also be great successes in 2009; I would love to hear about them. Please share your successes with us so we can celebrate together. Please feel free to call on me or our team anytime.
