Can I get more than one Boarding Pass/ticket for an educational session or reserve a place for a colleague if they are not there yet?

Can I leave my cell phone turned on during a PEC-Europe educational session?
Out of  respect for  the speaker and your fellow attendees, we request  that cell phones be turned off during educational sessions. Can non-members attend PEC-Europe?
Non-member planners may attend but not suppliers who are not members of MPI>  Non-member suppliers must first become members in order to attend. Do I pre-register for sessions?
No. MPI is no longer pre-registering attendees for educational sessions. Attendance is now based on a "first come, first served" basis. At the entrance of the session, each session attendee is given a "Boarding Pass" (ticket) that represents one seat. The session is full (sold out) when there are no more Boarding Passes available. Boarding Passes are available 30 minutes prior to the session's start time. Attendees are highly encouraged to queue up (get in line) early so as to get a pass and have a guaranteed seat.  (The only exception is the "Executive Track" sessions which are only for senior level attendees and require additional registration fees.). How can I become a speaker/presenter for PEC-Europe?
You will need to complete MPI's online form called the "Universal Call for Proposals". To access the form please go to the Education & Events page and look under Want to Be a Speaker?Once you are qualified, if there is a need for your expertise, you will be contacted by the Professional Development department. How can I decide what educational sessions to attend at PEC-Europe?
Each session is developed for a specific level (student, novice, intermediate and advanced); each member segment (suppliers or planners); and various subjects (meeting management, business skills, leadership, etc.). How can I register for PEC-Europe?

How do I get my Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for attending PEC-Europe?

How many Continuing Education Units (CEUs) do I get for attending PEC-Europe?

How many people come to the PEC-Europe?

While we do request that you respect the speaker and your fellow attendees, we understand that a session may not necessarily match your expectations. Is the education at PEC-Europe for planners or suppliers?
There are educational sessions for both supplier and planner member segments of MPI. There are some sessions for planners-only, suppliers-only and planners and suppliers together. Is there a trade show at PEC-Europe?

Is there be an Executive track at every PEC-Europe?
Typically we offer Executive Track at every conference. What countries typically have attendees at PEC-Europe?

What if I can't get into a workshop/session at PEC-Europe that I really want to attend?
f a session is really important to you, we recommend that you arrive 45 minutes prior to the commencement of the session in order to obtain a Boarding Pass.  If the session is full and you cannot get in, an MPI staff member will be able to assist you in finding a suitable alternative session. What is PEC-Europe?
MPI's Professional Education Conference-Europe (PEC-E), is a 3-day regional conference held annually, somewhere in Europe, in March or April, for 450-500 delegates and features approximately 35 interactive educational sessions, one or more General Sessions, and several networking opportunities.  It generally begins on a Sunday and ends after a closing gala on Tuesday evening. What is the PEC-Europe's Executive Track?
Executive Track is a  full day session designed for executive level meeting professionals offering in-depth and interactive education at an advanced level.  While we do not "pre-qualify" we ask that you attend only if you are at the senior level in the industry.
