BTC International Scholarship

BTC International has established a scholarship to help Italian students. According to Andrea Novelli, ---- “We wish to encourage students who are interested in the meeting and events industry to apply for a BTC International Scholarship through MPI’s Scholarship Program. Both MPI and BTC are committed to the future of the meetings and events industry which is why we support the scholarship program though the MPI Foundation Europe.”
BTC International is a trade fair in Italy focusing on events organisations. The last edition of BTC, which took place for the first time at the Nuova Fiera di Roma exhibition centre, confirmed that the event has become one of the
most important meetings industry trade fairs in Europe.
The BTC International’s primary goal is to support and initiate scholarships that encourages the education of under graduate and graduate students in the meetings and events industry who are committed to furthering their career.
The first ever IMEX-MPI Future Leaders Forum in Italy will take place at BTC International in Rome on 7 November 2008. About 50 students from several universities will attend a full day programme to gain more meeting industry knowledge. Application Qualifications
- Must be a member of MPI
- Must be a full-time student enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Be a citizen of Italy
- Demonstrate a financial need
