Midori Connolly founded Pulse Staging and Events with the goal of being a different type of AV provider -to extend beyond just being technically perfect and make a difference in the world.
Her passion has led her to writing the first set of guidelines for sustainable AV staging. She now writes a column on Green AV for ProAV Magazine and is the Vice-Chair for the US EPA’s AV Committee for Green Meeting and Event development. She also speaks on the topic of CSR through MPI’s Platinum Speaker program and frequently speaks on the topic of Green Business in general.
She also strives to support women in the AV industry. Her efforts to improve the AV industry led to her selection as one of the top 100 AV professionals in the world by InfoComm International, and one of only a handful of women selected.

Amanda L. Gourgue, CMP, LEED AP is a revolutionist!  She started her own company called Meeting Revolution.  It is a meeting and event company that specializes in environmental friendly meetings.  Meeting Revolution also assists meeting facilities in becoming socially responsible. 

Currently, Amanda is an active member in the hospitality community. She is the Co-Chair of the Membership Committee for Meeting Professional International, New England Chapter, a member of the Board of Directors for United States Green Building Council, New Hampshire Chapter, contributes to the Meeting Professional International Community Membership Advisory Council, and participates on the food and beverage subcommittees for APEX. Elling Hamso is a Meeting Management Consultant based in Norway. He has spent most of his career as a senior executive in the Norwegian oil and gas industry and later as a management consultant. Mesha Hegna is an active member of the Minnesota Chapter of Meeting Planners International and a participant of their Community Outreach Committee. In January and February of 2009, she co-chaired the effort to raise funds and collect donations for the Animal Humane Society; another cause very dear to my heart. Shirley Layne is the Events Supervisor for the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), the regulatory body for engineering, geology and geophysics in Alberta.  She has served on the Greater Edmonton Chapter of MPI in various capacities on the Nominating, Membership and Education Committeees. She also held the position of Newsletter Editor for three years and was privileged to received the "Best Editorial" and "Planner of the Year" awards from the chapter.

She volunteers with the We Care Inner City Ministry lunch program, making and delivering lunches to homeless people. She is also an avid reader and quilter.

A veteran meeting professional with over a quarter century of experience, Jeff Rasco is President of Attendee Management, Inc., providing online registration solutions for housing, travel, and e-marketing.

James Spellos is the President of Meeting U., a company specializing in training in the topics of technology applications and meeting planning.
Jim is certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS). He is a recognized expert in the field of technology for meeting professional, delivering nearly 200 seminars annually on technology applications. Jim also is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)

He is a faculty member at New York University, teaching in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies since 1990. Jim joined the undergraduate faculty in 2002.

Through Meeting U., Jim publishes a monthly technology e-letter named Techniques. This free newsletter discusses technology issues both within the meetings industry, as well as those that apply for all professional and personal use.
