U.S. Economic Impact Study & Business Journal Supplement
MPI has recently been involved with two valuable projects that speak to the value of business meetings. The first is the landmark"The Economic Significance of Meetings to the US Economy" study, conducted by Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC). The study is the first of its kind in the United States, and quantifies the economic contributions made by the 1.8 million meetings, trade shows, conventions, congresses, incentive events and other meetings that take place across the country. The second is the the Business Journal supplement, which reaches 300,000 business leaders in 26 U.S. markets. The supplement'scontent, provided by MPI's One+ magazine, provides case studies and business insights on how meetings and events drive business performance. This is a member-only piece, posted on our websites and disseminated through our digital channels.

MPIWeb Connect Podcast
The membership advisory council imparted their professional advice to MPI as the organization sought to evolve its membership model to elevate the professionalism in the meetings industry and extend the brand to non-member planners.
