San Diego State University
San Diego State University (SDSU) is the largest university in San Diego and the third largest in California. The campus community is home to more than 34,000 students and approximately 6,400 faculty and staff. Since it was founded in 1897, the university has grown to offer bachelor's degrees in 85 areas, master's degrees in 75 areas, and doctorates in 16 areas.

San Diego State University responded to the industry's needs by developing a program that includes a four-year interdisciplinary degree, a research institute, and continuing professional development in Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM). This is an education program tailored to meet industry needs and student expectations.
San Diego builds new hospitality and tourism leaders poised for successful global connections from this strategic Pacific Rim location. SDSU's incomparable HTM program offers a curriculum that is both practical and visionary, which ensures students graduate with a strong business foundation and a real understanding of industry complexities and demands.
The HTM program currently offers three emphases: Meeting and Event Management, Hotel Operations and Management; Restaurant Operations and Management; Tribal Gaming Management.
