Meeting 2.0
Meeting 2.0

Meetings are evolving into total participant involvement, and it’s not just a trend—it’s here to stay.

Just like the web is transforming from a fully controlled environment to a more user built environment, meetings too are evolving to more participant involvement and with good reason. In this session I will demonstrate and prove to you this is not just a trend that will pass by.

In meetings, there are many reasons to organize and encourage ‘participant involvement, all leading to more effective meetings. This session will allow you to experience this yourself through real life examples and exercises.

The key topics I will prepare for are:

  1. Value creation through Meeting 2.0 in Learning, Networking and Motivation.
  2. Before, during and after the meeting; what is new?
  3. Tools to use for participant involvement: Conceptual, Human, Art, Technical and technology
  4. The science behind Meeting 2.0 proving its value.
  5. Participant happiness through control, contribution, connectedness and conceptualization.
  6. The path to change: How do I sell this? What steps are safe to take? How do I start?
  7. Examples, cases of successful Meeting 2.0

MEETING 2.0 starts right here, right now. Participation is not limited to the onsite meeting. Before and faster the meeting there are ways of engaging participants and make your effort even more productive.
As a participant to our session you can now start to influence this EMEC session by participating in the design of the session: Click here to cast your vote on your personal top three of the above list of topics: Vote here .

We will have only time for 3 or 4 of them so you and other participants decide which of those seven are most important and that will be the program: You are in control.

Secondly I want you to let me know if there are other topics I should add to the above list or people I should invite for a panel. Again you have influence and you contribution will improve our program.

The lay-out of the room will also allow you to connect to other people and as you contribute together to the session in discussions, you will really get a good picture of who is at your table.

Those that know me will understand that this session is part of the bigger picture of Meeting Architecture as a future discipline. The design and execution of meetings around their purpose to creating more effectiveness and higher ROI is all at the base of this. Learning about participant involvement is critical to the value creation in meetings.

I look forward to see you in Malaga.
