Peak oil is something which is going to impact on our current way of living and working.
Consider all the oil that is used in the average event:
How do delegates get to the event?
How is food produced and transported to the event?
How are materials produced and transported to the event?
Often it is the oil that is used in production which we overlook- one way to understand this is to consider what production would look like with energy slaves rather than a limited oil resource.
Its clear to see an event would look very different if 'oilfree' and that is the challenge and opportunity, which we will be facing in the future.
