Not Your Typical Trade Show
MeetDifferent pulls out the stops and presents a unique alternative to the trade show: TradeDifferent.
By Jessica States Attendees at MeetDifferent 2010 in Cancun will enjoy an evening of networking and scenery at MPI’s first-ever TradeDifferent. The outdoor event is one of several supplier-planner networking opportunities that replace the usual trade show at MeetDifferent.
“One of the primary goals of MeetDifferent is to encourage one-on-one connections in non-traditional ways,” said Kristen Przano, events manager for MPI. “A conventional trade show will no longer be a part of MeetDifferent, but instead will be replaced with a renewed focus on meaningful, face-to-face interactions.”
Moon Palace will play host to TradeDifferent, where attendees will mingle over cocktails in a beautiful garden courtyard or take off their shoes and dance on the pristine white sand beach. Sponsors will host a variety of outdoor areas, each showcasing different themes, cuisine and settings. TradeDifferent is designed as a more relaxed, personal networking experience, allowing old friends to catch up and new friends to be made and giving sponsors a new avenue to express what makes their brands unique.
