What Your Room Rate Actually Costs
The room rate for Moon Palace is $238 per night and is all-inclusive. If you stayed at non-inclusive hotel, your traditional costs per day would be:
- Taxes: At 15%, $35.
- Tips : $10.
- Roundtrip Transportation To and From Airport: $50. Divided by 4 days = $12 a day.
- Mini Bar for Bottled Water and Diet Coke : $6
- Breakfast (MPI doesn’t offer free breakfast at WEC or MD): $20
- Happy Hour Drinks: $15
- Dinner: $60
- Wifi: $10
- Long Distance Calls from Room : $10
If you were to add up these additional costs and subtract them from your all-inclusive rate of $238, your actual room rate would only be $64. That’s a good deal just about anywhere.
A Perk You Might Not Have Imagined
At an all-inclusive property, such as the Moon Palace, networking opportunities are enhanced for all levels. Since there is no cost for dining at the restaurants, cost is not a barrier to mingling with all levels of professionals. And we all know what that’s worth.
