Content will focus on technologies available to industry professionals to help streamline or improve their work, personal brand, meeting design, and attendee experience. This track will focus on designing virtual meetings, using social media, blogs, video casting, and will include hands-on laboratory sessions.

International Meetings Management

This track will focus on how to do business internationally, specifically zeroing in on cultural differences, language barriers, and future trends.

 

Corporate Social Responsibility

Content will focus on how businesses can be responsible for their impact on the environment, employees, and communities and also will teach environmentally friendly practices in executing meetings

Small Business Owners

This track will focus on ideas, resources and information needed to start a new business, promote a business, and run a business.

 

Personal/ Professional Development

This track will focus on skills and knowledge to enhance self-development, quality of life, and career advancement. Topics will include:

Insider’s Exchange

The content of this track will be provided by suppliers to help planners learn the tips and tricks of working with their marketplace partners.

 

Learning outside the standard sessions:

Idea Exchange: This room will be a place to continue discussions which begin during sessions. There will be experts available to talk about virtual meetings and social media, legal questions, building your personal brand, and more. Additionally, there will be live webcasts of sessions, “Ask the Experts” opportunities, unconference space and more.

Learning Hallway: This space will focus on experiential learning. Activities will include:

  • Interactive learning games
  • Office/ chair yoga
  • Soap Box Debates – a public forum to debate hot topics in the industry
