The Official Vancouver and Whistler Olympic Viewing Lounge

Your MPI colleagues from Vancouver and Whistler are hosting THE PLACE TO BE during MeetDifferent. While Bold Meets Business in Cancun, the flame will be lit and the eyes of the world will be on Vancouver and Whistler as athletes and spectators from around the globe gather February 12 - 28 to celebrate winter sporting excellence. In fact, an estimated 3 billion people worldwide will watch the Games over the 17 days of incredible competition and one of a kind celebrations. We want to share the experience with all of our MPI friends. Please join us as we bring the 2010 Winter Olympics to you LIVE in Cancun! 

Being the consummate Canadian "nice" hosts that we are, cheering for the home team, Canada, is not a prerequisite for entry into the lounge although very much encouraged and highly appreciated. Our MPI friends and colleagues are welcome to cheer for whom ever they wish, the athlete, team or country of your choice. Those cheering the loudest and most often may get preferred seating, may get an Olympic give a way and most importantly, may get premium brand tequila, as apposed to the house brand.

In addition, we also want to encourage MPI Chapters to adopt a country. Canada and the US will be cheered on big time. However, several of the smaller 2010 competing countries may have no attendees at MeetDifferent cheering for them. Costa Rica, Liechtenstein and Madagascar need you! As do many others. Small in number and strong in heart. When all is said and done we may even have a special prize for the Chapter that adopts the country with the highest medal to athlete count!
