Savory organic "slow foods", local culinary presentations, unique entertainment, and fascinating visual effects will tantalize your senses as Salt Lake's award-winning outdoor Library Square sets the stage for re-connecting with old friends, and for discovering new ones. Come experience Salt Lake's urban summertime vibe, and discover for yourself why we're "Different by Nature".

The colorful performers of Project Bandaloop, led by artistic director Amelia Rudolph, will dazzle you at the Welcome Reception. The performance is a marriage of dance and climbing technology, unexpected relationships to gravity and dynamic choreography. The Welcome Reception will also feature the spirited and lively continuous actors of World Tribe. These colorful character actors, who will perform on six stages throughout the evening, are inspired by elements of the local desert and mountains of Utah.
