Strategic Meetings Management Track
This track is designed for meeting professionals who want to advance their career and is based on the 2005 MPI Global Corporate Circle of Excellence white paper entitled Strategic Meetings Management. The paper identifies eight basic steps to develop a strategic meetings management program, a strategy that earned high praise from the industry and is essential for experienced planners who want to increase their professionalism, advance their career, demonstrate value, and build collaboration. The track offers education from a basic information session to describe what strategic meetings management is, to four breakout sessions to go into further detail on the eight steps for developing a strategic meetings management program, up to higher level discussions among individuals who have implemented strategic meetings management programs within their organizations.
