LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media tools are becoming an increasingly critical component of business for everyone, including meeting professionals. This webinar will provide an introduction to LinkedIn and Facebook, show the elements of creating an account for each and how to connect to others. In addition, the differences between the two tools will be discussed. This webinar will provide a great foundation for the more advanced sessions that will be provided on both tools at WEC in Salt Lake in July.

You are registered or are thinking about attending WEC, you realize the importance of connecting face-to-face, but is it within your budget and what can you get from this conference? Very legitimate questions, especially in these economic times and the answer is YES you should attend, but attend with gusto. Look at every event, every reception, and every educational session as a new opportunity to gain and learn something from.
How can you make the difference? Always review the agenda of any event/meeting you will attend. Does it meet your needs and will the end result from attending continue to assist you with your business, strategic skills and planning for the next six to twelve months? Who will be attending this conference? Review the RSVPs and target the people and companies you need to meet. Keep in mind, you never know who you might be sitting next to in a session or a meal.
Join this webinar to learn every step of the procedure of “how to” on networking tips for WEC. We will start from which clothes to pack so you are prepared and “noticed,” to where you sit in a room for the luncheons, your entrance at the receptions, proper handshakes and introductions, how to enter a group of people and become part of their interaction, your dining skills and how you follow-up after WEC and every meeting or conference you attend. You can be there, but you “really want to be there” and take advantage of every business opportunity, educational experience and to continue solid and strong relationships.
