For the MPI family of members, this is the one global event of the year where you get to see and interact with your peers, network and connect with the MPI community, and this year, find job opportunities while at WEC. As part of the MPI Cares program, the MPI Career Connections Job Fair at WEC is designed for planners and suppliers who are currently looking for jobs, or those simply exploring what might be the next challenge in their career path.

Held in the WEC Career Center each day of the conference, the Career Connections Job Fair will be the place where job seekers, employers and recruiters meet face-to-face and virtually.

Personal/Professional Development Educational Track at WEC

The Personal/Professional Development track contains sessions that focus on improving personal wellness and professional development. The information provided will allow you to focus on certain areas of development that interest you and will help you as you progress in your career. The sessions will offer valuable information for all professionals and will span all experience levels. The topics to be addressed at WEC include:

Dawn Rasmussen, CMP, is the president of Portland, OR based Pathfinder Writing and Careers Services, which specializes in mid-to executive-level professional resumes.  She is a frequent professional speaker and writer on career management topics and teaches resume writing and other job search strategies at several Portland-area colleges.  Dawn is also the official columnist for One+ Magazine, a trade publication distributed to over 26,000 meeting professionals worldwide and also volunteers on a weekly basis teaching a free resume writing class for the Oregon Employment Department.
