This session will help you navigate the many sustainable event standards that have emerged over the past few years. It will include a discussion of APEX Green Meeting
Standards, application of Sustainable Event Management Standards (BS8901/ISO20121) and the new Global Reporting Initiative Event Sector Supplement.
The session will reveal when to use them and how they work together. The session will also include a presentation on MPI's Sustainable Event Measurement Tool ‐ an online tool that allows planners and suppliers to measure the environmental and social impact of their meetings and events.
