Eli Gorin

Eli Gorin, CMP, is the Vice President of Global Client Relations at ABTS Convention Services, a housing and corporate travel provider specializing in supporting and increasing medical association’s international attendees. Prior to joining ABTS, Eli had run his own meeting management boutique, gMeetings, Inc., focused on the logistical development and coordination of international corporate meetings and events, with a specialization in the Latin American market. Mr. Gorin is a graduate of the George Washington University's prestigious Event Management program, having received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Event Management, as well as having received an MBA in Leadership and Quality Management from the University of Miami. He has been a member of the adjunct faculty of the GWU Event Management Certificate Program and Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, FL and speaks frequently at industry events. Eli has worked in various capacities within the meetings and events industry, from small corporate meetings to large citywide conventions. In 2007 he was named on MeetingNews’ list of the "25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry" and in 2009 was invited to be part of Meeting Professionals International’s Senior Cadre of Accredited Trainers for association’s Global Training Initiative.
