Go Behind the Scenes at the Venice Film Festival

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of the world’s longest running film festival? The Venice Film Festival remains one of the “Big Three” film festivals to attend. Founded in 1932 by the prestigious, La Biennale di Venezia, the festival celebrates and brings awareness to the international cinema of today, while honoring the history of film. MPI’s Experiential Event Series invites you to go behind the scenes of the 74th annual Venice Film Festival this September. Attendees will earn 20 clock hours and a certificate in festival production.

  • Opportunities to interact with key event personnel who will share operational insights from the teams that plan, program, and produce the Venice Film Festival.

  • Behind-the-scenes tours featuring a festival walking tour created by organizers and a taste of historic Venice culture by attending the Historical Regatta.

Event Cancellation by MPI:
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If MPI cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, MPI has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. MPI will not be responsible for reimbursement of any participant’s expenses related to the cancellation or postponement of an event.
