CAREER & LEARNING CENTRAL
The world of conference education is changing dramatically, according to MPI’s own research. And while many learners enjoy the classroom, many others crave individualized and customized education, one-on-one and one-on-few conversations and interactive learning solutions. The mass availability of online education is driving learners to seek context from their peers and from subject matter experts in conversations and discussions, as opposed to lectures and panels.
Career and Learning Central acts as MPI’s learning laboratory, offering a variety of unique learning opportunities—for the individual, the small group and the masses— presenting the resources learners need to expand their knowledge, strengthen their careers and transform their events outside the confines of the concurrent session space. In each of its core areas, MPI not only shakes up the education headspace, but showcases innovation and experimentation as a means to knowledge and advancement.
Campfires have long been a source of light and warmth, conduits of conversation and inspiration. At WEC, you will find these centuries-old discussions in Career and Learning Central, where you can discuss the future of meetings, corporate social responsibility, technology and the current state of the industry with subject matter experts in a series of 30-minute, interactive sessions—all while earning CIC clock hours.
THE CAREER FAIR

In the Tech Café, MPI facilitates that relationship by offering subject matter experts in all areas of technology the opportunity to present sessions and discuss the challenges and opportunities that new technologies provide to meetings and events. Find out what is new and next in the ever-changing world of event technology, and how that applies to your events, both now and in the future.
