Meeting Essentials Overview

MPI’s Meeting Essentials are two certificate programs offered to novice and mid-level meeting and event professionals who want to enhance their skills and competencies.

Participating students will be taught by subject-matter experts.  The courses are geared towards length of time in the industry and are aligned with the MBECS (Meeting and Business Events Competency Standards).  The courses represent a foundation of knowledge that every event professional must have to execute and
deliver high-quality, relevant meetings. It is a precursor and should be
used as a prerequisite to a CMP Boot Camp before taking the exam.
