What is the "rent a member list” option, who can order and how much does it cost?
MPI Members and non-members can build a list rental for one time usage only for a fee -- in order to mail a promotion to MPI members.
The member specially discounted rate is $0.18 USD per name plus a $35USD service charge.
The non-member full rate charge is $0.25 USD per name plus a $75 USD service charge.
What information is included in the “rent a member list”?
The “Rent a Member List” includes Member Name, Title, Company Name & Mailing Address.
What format is available to receive this “rent a member list?"
The file you receive will be a Microsoft Excel® document.
When do I send a copy of mail piece for approval by MPI?
You must send a copy of your mail piece for approval to MPI before your list is sent to you. You can e-mail the piece to jboyd@mpiweb.org. Alternatively, you can fax the piece to either +1 972-855-2016 or +1 972-702-3016. Please allow two business days for MPI to send your “Rent a Member List” file from the receipt of your mail piece.
What is the process to build a “rent a member list”?
Start building your “Rent a Member List” by entering in the List Rental Wizard, the Member Locations you wish to include– which includes the City, State/Province, and Country. (Leave these fields blank if the Member Location information is not part of your targeting scheme.) For multiple selections, hold the “Ctrl” key down while you select each option.
If this is the only search criteria that you want, click FINISH and the PURCHASE AGREEMENT page will appear.
If you wish to select more criteria, click MORE, go to the next page, make your selections, click MORE and proceed through each page that is important to your search. (NOTE: See the six pages of helpful targeting options below.)

What is included in the Purchase Agreement?
This Purchase Agreement page will give you the Final Record Count and the Price of your “Rent a Member List.” Read and mark the “Agree to Terms of Contract” section. Insert your Member ID. Click “Submit” to go to “Financial Transaction” page.
How can I pay for the “Rent a Member List”?
You may elect to pay by Check or Credit Card.
What are the restrictions and MPI copyright protections for list usage?
List usage is a one-time rental basis. No part of the MPI directory may be reproduced, used for mailing list preparation or promotional mailings, stored in retrieval systems or transmitted in any form by electronic, photocopying, recording or other means without prior written permission of Meeting Professionals International. Anyone violating copyright protections is subject to prosecution.
