MPI's Business Value of Meetings Initiative is supported by:

The need to prove the effectiveness of meetings and business events is growing. The Business Value of Meetings (BVOM) initiative centers on quanitfying the business return of live events and developing tools for accurate output measurement.

Planners will now be able to justify how meetings and events drive performance, establish various measures and benchmarks used to weigh the value of events, and integrate environmental impact assessments into evaluations. This initiative also focuses on business case studies demonstrating the effective use of meetings and events, as well as good practices.
