CEIS Benchmark Study (English version)
The Meeting Professionals International Foundation (MPIF) Canadian Economic Impact Study (CEIS) provides data on industry revenues and delegate spending in the Canadian meetings and events sector and on the direct and indirect benefits that the sector contributed to the Canadian economy in 2006. It is the first study of the Canadian industry, and the first to make extensive use of the measurement methodology that the UNWTO released in November, 2006 with participation from MPI, Reed Travel Exhibitions, and the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).
