Hotel room bookings in
Düsseldorf jumped 11 percent from 2009 to 2010 to 3.59 million (its highest number ever), according to research by Germany's National Office of Statistics. The jump includes a 17 percent increase in foreign visitors, who account for about 40 percent of hotel nights in Düsseldorf.
