This information was just released from central Iowa and I wanted to pass this along. I know that many chapters are interested in helping. If you would like to provide support, please contact me directly (solson@qwestcenter.com) so we can coordinate efforts and can get your aid directly to those that are in need from our Chapter.

Cedar Rapids CVB Forced to Relocate ... The Cedar Rapids CVB has had to relocate to the flooded city's Lindale Mall and is struggling to attain some sense of normalcy, Executive Director Tim Boyle told USAE. Fortunately, added Boyle, employees were able to remove the vital equipment from the area before serious damage occurred. Downtown Cedar Rapids will likely be without electrical power for another three to six weeks, Boyle said.   Other flooding information and sites:

Now that high waters have spilled out of Iowa, something more welcoming is pouring into the state - flood and tornado relief money.
