SNEAK PEAK! “Different by Nature” Walk/Run

You’ve heard it before, Salt Lake has unparalleled access to outdoor recreation. Come see for yourself and join in the fun of an early morning walk/run on Monday, July 13 at 6:00 a.m. at nearby City Creek Canyon. Groups will depart from the Salt Palace Convention Center for a brisk stroll through one of Salt Lake’s spectacular downtown canyons. Plus, attendees to the walk/run will walk away with a great eco-friendly souvenir from the Salt Lake CVB.

This year, we’re bringing back Learning Nuggets at MeetingPlace. These are fun tidbits of information that you can get by stopping by booths with a next to their name in the conference guide. In the past, we’ve seen everything from new recipe ideas, to French lessons, to insider tips from suppliers about tricky contract items. This year’s are shaping up to be really cool – you won’t want to miss them!

Help us walk the sustainability talk!  Give us your ideas online. You can also help out by using the refillable water bottle, courtesy of Cynergreen, you will receive with your registration bag. We will have Hydration Stations so you can recharge your H2O.  Bring that bottle to the community service project on Saturday, July 11 as we try to leave Salt Lake a little greener through their Urban Gardener program.
