The annual European Meetings and Event Conference (EMEC) is a signature event through which MPI delivers top-rate education, networking and business opportunities to the international meeting and event community.
EMEC 2015 in Krakow, Poland had strong attendance with more than 340 participants and post event satisfaction survey results of 98% favorability. From the beautiful location and venue to the networking and education opportunities offered, EMEC 2015 delivered to our members and non-members alike.
EMEC 2015’s education program contained more than 25 education sessions allowing participants to think and grow in new ways. Participants could explore a variety of topics both inside and outside of the industry and choose from different learning formats to match their preferred learning style. Topics provided the attendee a broader understanding of the industry as a whole and also addressed individual performance. Most of MPI’s education sessions provide the attendee with clock hours for certification or re-certification of industry certificates. Click here to watch recorded sessions from the event.
EMEC provided participants with outstanding networking and marketplace opportunities for conducting business. New in 2015 was MPI’s exclusive Hosted Buyer Programme where we welcomed a small group of planners and suppliers who made appointments with each other before the official start of EMEC and then met face to face to advance business objectives. This programme will be a permanent addition to the EMEC. If you are interested in learning more about the programme, click here for details.
“EMEC is a great possibility to show global planners that meetings mean business also in your destination. Cooperation among all of the organisers and individual involvement allowed EMEC 2015 to become our success, and the memories will remain with the participants for a long time. I recommend bringing this event to your city!” Dr. Krzysztof Celuch
