I started reading this Wall Street Journal article on bionic brains, and it reminded me of some of the newest findings from our Future of Meetings research, which will be available in the coming months. Leeds Met university professors spoke to experts outside of our industry for Phase 2 of the research and discovered some really interesting trends, including the idea that technologies, social networks and neuroscience will produce more capacity for meeting professionals to gain and understand delegate feedback (pre-, during- and post-event). And lower fertility and mortality rates mean more people living—and working—longer.
Technology won't just be imbedded in our bodies, but also in the walls and floors of our venues. Stay tuned.
