Do You Work on the Plane?

Just 10 percent of travelers work while on the plane, according to a survey conducted by Chicago-based GO Airport Express. Reading for fun tops the list of activities at 32 percent. Fourteen percent sleep, and 12 percent read business books and publications. An additional 7 percent watch in-flight movies and 2 percent play computer games, engage other passengers in conversations or do nothing at all.

I like to work on a plane, but if the person in front of me reclines his seat, there is not much room for my 6'3 self, the tray table, and my laptop.

Agreed, Thom. I try to get as much work done early in the flight as I can; then, I read industry pubs or research.
