What are the Top 50 Cities for Meetings in the U.S.?

I don't know, but Cvent says it does. Based on its supplier network's meeting and event booking, the cloud-based event management solutions provider gives us this list. But here's a preview of the Top 10:

  1. Orlando
  2. Washington, D.C.
  3. Las Vegas
  4. Miami
  5. Chicago
  6. San Diego
  7. Phoenix
  8. Atlanta
  9. Dallas
  10. New Orleans

For the list, Cvent evaluated 1,000 cities and 200 major metropolitan areas in the U.S. Activity was tracked between July 2011 and June 2012, and the ranking was then determined by a set of qualifying criteria including the number of total room nights booked through the Cvent Supplier Network, the number of unique electronic RFPs and their respective value, and the value of meetings booked.
