The International Live Events Association (ILEA) and MPI have announced a collaboration that will bring ILEA members a new learning platform, via Digitell, that will launch in September. The new online platform will feature more than 60 educational sessions based on the ILEA core curriculum.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with ILEA, an organization which shares MPI's commitment and passion to bringing impactful education to the events industry,” says Paul Van Deventer, CEO of MPI. “Our collaboration will allow us to inspire and motivate members of the ILEA community by offering robust and innovative educational opportunities while enriching their future.”
Both MPI and ILEA are committed to providing their members with cutting-edge education that empowers them to fulfill the ever-changing needs of the meetings and events community. The education provided will feature topics such as business, risk management, safety and security and finance.
Kristie Sanders, director of community for MPI, thinks of the partnership as a “true collaboration” and is proud that MPI can assist ILEA with providing a full educational library that can be accessed at any time and tracked by ILEA members.
ILEA’s mission is to foster inspiration and creativity by elevating all professionals engaged in live events. Their education program is designed to assist live event professionals in achieving their Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) designation.
