Your Guide to Planning Education, Networking at IMEX America 2017

For the seventh consecutive year, MPI is returning to Las Vegas to as the strategic partner and premier education provider for IMEX America, with education during Smart Monday on October 9 and keynotes and booth education October 10-12. We’ll also give attendees a chance to present a new professional image and help them give back to the meeting and event industry along the way.

Smart Monday

With 24 concurrent sessions and a possible 5.25 clock hours for attendees, the educational offerings for Smart Monday powered by MPI will run the gamut. With subjects ranging from sustainability to safety and security and crucial topics such as Women in Leadership and a CMP Master Class, there’s something for everyone.

Keynotes

Keynote speakers will be presenting daily on a variety of subjects, starting at 9 a.m. in the Sands Showroom.

Monday, October 9
Janet Sperstad, CMP – Purposeful Meetings - Driving Deeper Meaning and Insights
Sperstad will leverage industry research to explore the five characteristics that define purposeful meetings: behavior science, meeting design, technology, health and wellbeing and leaving a positive legacy.

Tuesday, October 10
Juliet Funt – Activity Is Not Productivity
Funt will present a high-energy session where attendees will learn about the “WhiteSpace culture” and how to bring positive changes to the workplace by examining the critical difference between cramming in more tasks and selectively choosing to dive into the right ones with thoughtfulness.
