The DAS #Dallas90 Initiative
Launched in 2018, Dallas90 is a community outreach campaign by Dallas Animal Services designed to generate support of and participation in DAS’ effort to find positive outcomes for all healthy and behaviorally sound pets, which we have shown exceeds 90% of our shelter population.
The Dallas90 Vision
The Dallas90 vision is to lead the nation in compassionate care of animals while finding positive outcomes for all placeable pets through innovative shelter operations and community engagement.
Progress
In September 2020, DAS achieved it’s first-ever fiscal year live release rate of over 90%! This major milestone would not have been possible without the support of our community. View our data to see where we are in real-time.
But the work is far from done. In Spring 2020, COVID-19 brought a host of new challenges for pet owners and for DAS. You can join the #Dallas90 movement to help us save the lives of pets in need.
