Are you a planner?

  • Do want to be able to easily bounce ideas off other planners?
  • Do you wish you could brainstorm with other planners for solutions to your problems?
  • Or maybe you just want to chat about how you are always asked to do more with less?

The Exchange is MPI Georgia’s meet-up spot for planners to connect and share challenges, trade secrets, advice, tips & tricks, and more. The sessions attract ALL planners with different levels of experience and from different areas of the industry.  Through its unique “Planner Only” format, The Exchange offers a “safe space” to talk with other planners. Recent topics include:

  • how to upward manage your boss
  • how to learn about the site selection process if that’s new to your planning role
  • recommendations for online project management tools
  • onsite payment processing apps for fundraising
  • creative ways to engage attendees on a meeting app
  • recommendations for affordable RFID attendance tracking
  • using “virtual bags” vs. the traditional swag bags
  • using chatbots for registrant FAQs
  • best practices for sending out conference call appointments through Outlook
  • and more
We had a wonderful session at April’s monthly reception at City Tap led by MPI Georgia Past-President & independent planner, Eileen Roehl, CMP.  Be sure to join us just prior to the September 17th Luncheon for the next Exchange. There is no cost to attend.

“The Exchange is a great member benefit that MPI Georgia offers planners to speak candidly and get those burning questions answered. The ideas and resources shared were great takeaways from the session, as well.”
