Board Candidate Nomination & Application

MPI Greater Calgary Chapter is looking for dynamic individuals to join our 2019-2020 Board of Directors.

  • Leadership experience in managing volunteers, budgets and projects

  • Points towards your CMP recertification or CMM designation
  • Expanded industry networking with recognition as a chapter leader at events and online
  • A voice to collaborate alongside key industry leaders and impact the future of our chapter: you'll have direct involvement in setting the Chapter’s annual education plan and long-term goals

 We are currently looking to fill the slate of officers for the 2019-2020 year and encourage you to put your name forward as candidate. Board Job Descriptions are available in the left hand column. Tyler Trapp will serve as the 2019-2020 MPI GCC President. 

Terms of office will be July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 but we ask for an 18-month commitment with limited pre-term and post-term involvement starting March 2019 through August 2020. Board members may hold a given position for up to 2 terms. President-Elect is a 3-year commitment with automatic succession to President in 2020-2021 and Immediate Past President in 2021-2022.

We welcome candidates from all areas of the industry but you must be a member of the MPI Greater Calgary Chapter, in good standing, to be eligible for nomination and election to these positions.

By serving on the Board you have the opportunity to give back to your association and your industry.
