Global Meetings Industry Day

 Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) brings together leaders from across the meetings and events industry to showcase the real impact that business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions have on people, business and communities. Meeting professionals across the world participate in the international day of advocacy, with more than 120 events held across 6 continents in 2017. This year's tagline is "Real results, real impact, all around the world."

This year, MPI Greater Edmonton Chapter, PCMA Canada West, ILEA Edmonton, Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, and CanSPEP are teaming up to bring you the event with thousands of industry professionals celebrating all over the globe.Join the meetings industry as we come together for Global Meetings Industry Day on April 12th. We invite all meeting professionals from planners, to speakers, to suppliers and beyond to join us for a day of celebration and recognition of our industry.
