Mariela McIlwraith, CMP, CMM, MBA is President of Meeting Change. She specializes in corporate social responsibility, pricing strategies and emerging issues in the event sector.  Mariela has held international and chapter leadership roles with both Meeting Professionals International and the Green Meeting Industry Council. She is the co-author of Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility in the Meetings and Events Industry,  a part of the Wiley Event Series, is the Executive Editor of the Convention Industry Council Manual, 9th Edition, and most recently, she has co-authored Meet Better: 167 Easy Ways to Make Your Events More Environmentally and Socially Responsible. She has been named a 2014 Meetings Trendsetter by Meetings Focus, a 2015 Changemaker by MeetingsNet and to the peer-nominated #CMP30 Influencers for the Convention Industry Council. She was inducted into the Meetings & Incentives Travel Hall of Fame in the category of Industry Builder in August, 2015.
