Spark Award

The Spark Award is presented each quarter to the chapter member (planner or supplier) who exhibits a strong sense of initiative on behalf of the Chapter and the meetings industry during the most recent quarter.

This individual shows promise as a future leader based on a record of committee service, overall volunteerism and participation in Chapter activities.

Who Can Nominate A Spark Award Candidate?

Members are nominated by their peers and the final vote is taken by the Awards Nominating Committee.

Who is eligible?

• The candidate must be an active member in good standing with MPI Orlando.

• The member has made significant continuous contributions to the chapter through MPI Global and MPI Orlando events attended, leadership and/or committee participation, authorized articles, professional designations, member recruitment, etc.
  

Who is not eligible?

• Sitting Board of Directors members

• Past award recipients
