What do you do?

I am the Event Experience Specialist at Project Lead the Way (PLTW). Project Lead The Way provides transformative learning experiences for PreK–12 students and teachers across the U.S. They develop STEM curricula for use by U.S. elementary, middle and high schools. PLTW has pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science — all popular industries of the future. They are all over the nation and currently serving 14,000 schools. We currently put on 4 annual national events.

Where did you go to school?

IUPUI campus. I have a degree in event planning.

Have you always lived in Indiana?

No, I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan as a child, then my family moved to Johnson City, TN. Later on in life, my aunt and uncle who were both missionaries asked me to come along with them on a trip to Africa where I lived 6 months of my life!! Then I later came to Indiana where I have now settled.

What is your favorite guilty pleasure food?

That would have to be cherry pie!
