Venue Spotlight

Historic Acres of Hershey

If you've been to the Historic Acres of Hershey on a warm summer evening, you know the property forces you to take a step back in time and breathe. From the weeping willow trees and massive barrels of annual plants to the rolling green Dauphin County countryside, the Historic Acres of Hershey is pristine and rustic all at the same time. And, Melodie Crawford, Venue Manager, graciously welcomed the September MPIMP education program with open arms. And open umbrellas.

The 19th —Century farmhouse can be rented for overnight stays. The bank barn with untouched stone walls and post and beam construction (modernized a bit with elegant chandeliers) provides perfect Shabby Chicness and The Pavilion all sit on 7.5 meticulously landscaped acres. Oh — and The Coop — an original chicken coop — now beautifully renovated.

Special shout-outs to Penny Blumenthal and the Valley Forge Casino Resort's Gold sponsorship; Jason Carroll, MPI International Board of Directors who always reminds us that he hearts our Chapter and to the Meet the Pros "campfire" session leaders. Lots of chatter, information exchanging and engagement!

Check out the Historic Acres of Hershey's website gallery for truly stunning & sunny pictures of the entire property.
