Membership Scholarship for Students

The MPIMP Scholarship for Students was created to encourage students to become engaged with professionals within the meeting planning industry and opportunities that MPI can offer them. This scholarship will pay for a one-year membership in the Meeting Professionals International Middle Pennsylvania Chapter.

To be considered for this scholarship award, individuals must meet the following criteria:

* A current full-time student majoring in hospitality, parks and recreation, or event planning or has had a minimum of three classes related to the meeting planning/hospitality industry.

* Recipients must be willing to attend a minimum of two events throughout the year and serve on a committee, as that will afford you multiple opportunities to be in touch with professionals in the industry.

* Provide a letter of recommendation from your advisor.

Scholarships are based upon availability. Applications are approved based on pertinence of education/training to your major and the industry, as well the level of involvement and activities with MPIMP and any community or professional organizations.
