There are many positives in being in the industry, from my point of view is either you love or hate what you do. I love the industry and being a pupil each and every day, always learning to be the best I can be.

What is the best career advice you’ve received?
Really know yourself. Work hard and always be objective.

What is the most memorable event you have planned or client experience you have had?
Many that come to mind, however, the most impactful and fulfilling event was to detail a Presidential visit to our hotel (President Regan), and working with the White House, Secret Service, State and Local Authorities and meeting the President and the NJ Governor at that time.

Where did you grow up?

Born and raised in Bagheria (Sicily), near Palermo.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what 3 items would you bring with you?
Fishing rod, flair gun, large Swiss knife.

Who would you like to be for a day?
A scientist in the moment when he finds the elusive cure for Alzheimer.

Which three words describe you best?
That is a question that I would like my wife to answer. But I would choose: compassionate, confident and imperfect.

What is your all-time favorite movie?
Cinema Paradiso, reminds me of my life journey.

What do you love about MPI?
MPI and specifically MPI NJ offer the opportunity to make people connections, establish long lasting business and personal relationships (people do business with friends), grow and learn new skill sets, become the best in your field. But you need to work hard in it, be involved and know that each of us make a difference. I became the President of the NJ Chapter in 2007-2008 and worked with so many great people, always striving to take the Chapter to new levels for the benefit of the members. Now, each year I ask and serve on International Committees, continuing the learn and make a difference.
