January 2019 Education Program: Connecting Through Teambuilding

Teambuilding – is that still a thing? Does the word conjure up trust falls and rope courses? Does the idea of it make you run for the hills or roll your eyes? Teambuilding doesn’t have to scary, intimidating or costly – it should be fun and energizing, getting teams to better understand each other and work towards a common goal.

Join MPI New Mexico and guest speaker Carolyn Browning as we discuss some trends in teambuilding and maybe a practice a few activities!

Learner objectives:
• Discover what’s “in” and what’s “out” in the teambuilding arena
• Take some ideas back that you can use with your team now
• Learn some resources to help you build activities for your group

Venue tours will be available after the program.

Carolyn Browning, CMP, CMM, HMCC, is the Chief Solution Strategist of MEETing Needs, LLC. She began her career in the meetings industry on the corporate side handling customer events and sales meetings at both Sprint and GE Capital and then went out on her own and never looked back!   Passionate about meetings and education, Carolyn seeks to share her knowledge and experience with others - leading CMP prep classes, speaking to groups about how to plan better meetings to engage and inspire audiences, facilitating meetings and retreats and helping clients design and execute impactful meetings.

Carolyn is a devoted Disney fan (some say fanatic!) and is the proud mom of two college students. Now she’s trying to figure out what to do with all her ‘free’ time!
