Scholarships
MPI Ohio Chapter offers a variety of scholarships to aid in continuing your involvement and education in the meeting planning industry.
Scholarships are awarded throughout the fiscal year (July 1- June 30) in the following categories:

- Educational Opportunities

Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:
- MPI Ohio Chapter Membership status
- Involvement with MPI Ohio Chapter
- Committee participation
- Member recruitment
- Attendance at meetings and special events
- Submission of articles for DEFINE
- Previous scholarships received from MPI Ohio Chapter
Scholarship applications should be completed and submitted to the chapter administrator. You will be notified when your scholarship is received along with an expected response date. If your scholarship is approved and awarded, you will be notified via email and required to submit the appropriate documentation for reimbursement.
MPI Ohio Chapter Board of Directors reserves the right to decline scholarship applications.
No more than two scholarships can be awarded to the same individual over a three year time period.
Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration by the MPI Ohio Chapter Board of Directors.
Scholarship applications from MPI Ohio Chapter Board members must be reviewed by the Board of Directors and voted on for approval.
