January 2018 Luncheon Recap

The first MPI St. Louis Chapter event of the New Year brought back the ever popular Peer to Peer Roundtable discussions, with a twist!

After a brief networking session, members chose a table based on the discussion topics presented. During the first course of lunch, attendees conversed about a wide range of topics, such as improving vendor/planner relationships, professional development, new venue spaces in St. Louis, advances in event technology, and more. Members then shared the highlights from their table’s discussion before switching tables for the next round.

The twist to the roundtable discussions is that following each session, when attendees switched tables to engage in a new discussion, the amazing staff at the DoubleTree reset the tables for the next meal! It was a great addition to the program and allowed for more interaction with fellow chapter members and non-members.
