A special sleeping room rate per room per night is available at the SHERATON GEORGETOWN TEXAS HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER for CMP Boot Camp participants for the Friday night preceding the CMP Boot Camp class on Saturday. Please call the hotel directly at 737.444.2700 and ask for the MPI-THCC rate. Rate is based on availability.
About the Facilitator
Carol Benavidez, CMP, CMM, The CMP Experience
Carol Benavidez, CMP, CMM, strongly believes in continuing education and shares that passion in helping others.
Her education includes graduating in 1990 from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management and a minor in Business. In addition, she achieved the Convention Industry Council’s Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2000, and Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM) in 2012. Her work experience has included management positions in many hotel departments including restaurants, bar, room service, catering and group sales working for The Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center, Radisson Plaza Hotel Fort Worth, Omni Dallas Hotel at Park West, and Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas. She is currently a Regional Vice President with HelmsBriscoe, starting her career with them in 1999.
MPI Texas Hill Country Chapter is a CMP Preferred Provider.
